Unguided Black Bear Hunts in Alaska
This is a fantastic hunting and fishing package for any outdoorsman. The adventure will be custom fit for your exact needs. You'll fly into AK a few days before the unguided black bear hunt and start your adventure off with a couple of days of float plane fishing. Mix it up with silver salmon, sockeye salmon, or trophy trout. Then fly deep into the Alaskan bush, well rested, acclimated, and geared up for the hunt. You'll land in alpine country where black bears are found foraging for berries across the hillsides. Enjoy a comfortable drop camp, fully outfitted with everything you'll need (including great food) to complete your trip of the decade! Because of the abundance of black bears, this trip can be great for larger hunting parties. Discounts available for groups 4+. Best time is mid to late August through early to mid September. The population of bears in our region is excellent (some areas have a 3 bear limit) and our success rate is 70% or better. This Cast and Blast is sure to please.

- 2 fly out salmon trips + 7 day, unguided black bear hunt
- 1 fly out salmon trip, 1 trout fishing trip + 7 day, unguided black bear hunt
- River float trip: fish and hunt for 7-10 days
Booking & Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required to confirm any booking through Adventure Outfitters. We accept cashiers check, cash, PayPal and all major credit cards. There is a 3% processing fee on all transactions. You must pay the balance in full before you enter the field.
A refundable deposit of $500 is also required for the camp rental. Satellite phone minutes will be subtracted from your deposit and then returned to you after the gear has been checked over. Paypal works best for this transaction.
DIY Hunts cancelled 120 days or more from flyout date will be refunded the amount of the deposit, less 10% fee. DIY Hunts cancelled 119 days or less from flyout date will not be refunded.
You are responsible for all hunting licenses and big game tags. We DO NOT provide any hunting/shooting equipment, or game processing supplies. Please read the regulations in full.
