Alaska Fishing Trips: Kustatan River - Silver Salmon Fishing

This trip is sure to be a blast for all salmon anglers. The Kustatan has an unbelievable silver run with great access by jet boat. This IS the trip for hard core fishermen. An amazing floatplane landing puts you and your party on a large slough of the main river. From there we load up into flat bottom jet boats and take a short jaunt to the river. Because of the silty conditions in the main channel, we normally use bait to catch silvers. Hip boots are a must and will be provided if necessary, as we often fish from standing on sandbars. There are ample opportunities for the hardware angler in the sloughs off the main channel as well as select areas for the hardcore fly angler. Get ready to set the hook on some chrome-sided silvers on this trip!
